High School Scholarships
Men’s Club Scholarship Program

Who is eligible to apply?
Any student who is currently in the 8th grade and expects to attend a Catholic High School in the fall of 2010 may apply for the high school scholarships. The student must be accepted into and committed to attend a Catholic High School at the time of scholarship payment. The student need not have made a final decision on the school at the time of application. The student must be a member of a St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish registered family, a St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Men’s Club family or the family of a St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish employee.
What is the objective of the one-year High School scholarships?
The purpose of this scholarship is to reward those first year high school students who have demonstrated outstanding spiritual, civic, leadership and academic qualities. The Scholarship qualification criteria include the following, in order of importance:
These scholarships are not based on financial need. Although an important criterion is academics, the student need not be at the top of their class to win this award.
How many Scholarships will be awarded?
The Men’s Club will award three one-year High School Scholarships at $1000 each. Payments are made directly to the students account at the school and not to the student. All Scholarship winners will be announced in May 2010.
What schools Qualify?
The applicant may plan to attend any North Texas area Catholic High School.

How do I apply in 2011?
An application can be obtained by the following methods:

- Academic accomplishments and honors
- Leadership qualities and positions held
- Extracurricular activities
- Attitudes and aspirations

2. E-mail a request for an application.
Provide name and grade and an e-mail attachment (MS Word) will be sent to you.
3. Call Men's Club Scholarship Contact. Leave a message with the name and grade and be sure to leave a phone number.
