We, the parish community of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, see our mission beginning with the act of common worship, the ultimate expression of our faith, calling us to:
Nurture parish family life - to create one out of many
Respond to the spiritual, educational, physical and social needs of the parish family members
Challenge each other to grow in our Catholic faith and service to one another
Spread the gospel of Jesus Christ by work and action to the larger community in which we live, work and play.
There are many forms of Worship available to the Seton community: eight weekend Masses, daily Mass - Monday through Saturday, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament each Friday, Reconciliation every Saturday, liturgies to celebrate Holy Days and Feast Days, Baptisms, Confirmations, Weddings, Funerals, First Reconciliation and First Eucharist, and a monthly Taize Prayer Service which combines music, prayer and silent meditation.
There are many ministries that contribute to the rich worship life of the Seton Community: Altar Guild; Altar Servers; Art & Environment; Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion; Lectors; Music Ministry; Ushers; Home, Hospital & Nursing Home Visitation; and a variety of Devotional Groups. More information about these ministries can be found under the Liturgical Ministries tab unter MINISTRIES.
