As we celebrate the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi this weekend, we will have our annual Blessing of the Animals this Saturday, October 3rd at 1:00 p.m. in front of the church. All animals must be on a leash or in a cage.
October is the month of the Holy Rosary. Join us for a special Holy Hour next Monday, October 5th following the 8:30 a.m. Mass. We will have Solemn Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and the Rosary. Our Holy Hour will conclude with Benediction at 10:00 a.m. Let's continue to pray for peace and healing in our nation and world.
We had our first
Together We Learn class ("The Real Presence") this past Saturday with 176 people registered. If you missed it, you can still watch the recording by clicking the link below and selecting that course. Our next class will be centered on the importance of Catholic Tradition and will take place on Saturday, October 31st.
Please remember that pre-registering for Sunday Mass is no longer required. However, the COVID protocols are still in place at this time.
May I take a moment to thank all of you for your kind support these past few weeks following the death of my mother, Mary Baker, who attained 98 years of age. I deeply appreciate the help for her memorial, and the many expressions of sympathy, the dozens of cards and the many Mass Intention and Mass Enrollment cards that were sent.
May she rest in the peace of God, and may God's peace be yours.
