We have been joyfully celebrating our First Communions and the Sacrament of Confirmation with our young people these past weeks. We are now ready to begin the new year of preparing both our young and adult parishioners to receive the Sacraments. Good News! We are glad to announce that pre-registering for Mass is no longer needed. Our new online "Together" program continues next week with the Learn component. John Eldridge will be doing a one time Zoom class on the Eucharist, especially regarding "The Real Presence". Pre-register for Zoom link. Our Grief support group has also gone online.

Our Sunday Masses were well attended this past weekend. Thank you for continuing to be conscious of the safety protocols. Remember to register for Sunday Masses. We have also added another Reconciliation time on Friday mornings from 9:15am-10:00am. Family Faith Formation and CREW Registration have begun. This weekend is the Blood Drive and Love Truck Weekend.
I am happy to announce that we will begin having Sunday Masses this coming weekend (June 27/28). There are new Mass times, protocols, and attendance limits. To reduce crowding, and to reserve your seat, it is very important that everyone use the simple, sign-up process for the Mass time you wish to attend. Silvia Lourdes Vazquez, daughter of Patricia and Miguel Vazquez, has been awarded the Valedictorian of Ursuline Academy of Dallas for 2020. Silvia, the daughter of Patricia and Miguel Vazquez, is a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. This fall, Silvia will be pursuing a degree in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University.
Bishop Edward J. Burns and Auxiliary Bishop Greg Kelly join their brother bishops in Texas in calling for prayers for George Floyd, his loved ones and for justice and peace in our country. We pray for the Holy Spirit’s guidance in order to work toward a society where justice, peace, and charity may be shared with all of God’s children.
This decree addresses the implementation of Phase Two. The highlight of this phase is public weekday Masses (Monday through Friday) may continue on Tuesday, May 26, 2020. These weekday Masses are limited to one Mass per day per parish at 25% of building capacity. Safety protocols will be in place, including wearing face masks, social distancing and using hand sanitizer.
Some good news! We are moving forward in opening our church home. Beginning this next Tuesday, May 26th, we will celebrate public daily Masses. This does not include any public weekend or Sunday Masses yet. Our Saturday evening Mass will continue only to be live streamed, until we hear otherwise from the Diocese. Good News! This Sunday, May 10th, we will begin opening our church for the some new opportunities, and services including reconciliation, adoration and private prayer in the church, and open columbarium hours. Please practice safety protocols.
The Diocese of Dallas has released a decree outlining the way in which its 77 churches will incrementally open to welcome back the 1.3 million Catholics in the 9 counties it serves. The Diocese of Dallas will begin the process of opening in phases, allowing for the ability to re-evaluate the process as necessary in order to ensure the health and safety of the community. This process will occur in four phases, with each phase building upon the last.

Bishop Burns has issued a "Shelter in Place" policy for all diocesan parishes (no matter what county they are in). This means that until April 3rd, all parish campuses will be shut down. There will be no public services and the staff will be working from home.
