Shirley's faith and prayers led to Doug's conversion to Catholicism. Since then, by remaining open to the Holy Spirit, many good things have come into their lives, things they could never have foreseen.
Denise and John , along with their three children, strive to live a life of prayer and service, looking at each step on the way, little or big, is an opportunity to show and model Christian values. Both serve as catechists and have been involved in many other ministries. Denise is also very involved with the Fully Inclusive Special Needs program and is the creator of the "My Step To" Guides for Mass, the Rosary, and Confession.
Shortly after Don and Carolyn married he went on active duty with the Navy. During all the years of living far from our families, they always found a home away from home by attending Mass and volunteering to serve the Catholic communities where they lived. They felt like they had family (their Catholic family) wherever they went.
Brett learns that being busy in service is not necessarily the same as being one with the Lord. Any service must be rooted in prayer and in God to receive the full fruits of the Spirit.
Through involvement in ministry at Seton, especially ACTS and through song with with the 1:15 choir, Liz finds an extended family and the Lord opens her eyes with a deeper understanding of His love for us.
