Facilitators guide the class through the Gospel reading of the week. 
We use At Home With the Word which can be purchased for $10.00 at any time throughout the year. 
This is the perfect class for those who may not be able to attend a Bible Study on a regular basis.  Come when you can!  We also offer the option to Zoom into our classes.

Tuesday Evening Scripture Study
Tuesdays 7:00pm-9:00pm

We are a friendly group that enjoys studying the Bible and our Catholic faith. Our objective is to;

1. Understand the Bible in proper context in order to understand and grow in our faith as Catholic Christians. By using aids such as the Catechism and Catholic study Bibles, we seek to understand scripture in light of the living tradition of the church.
2. Provide and environment where we take this time of fellowship to encourage each other in our faith, and share our burdens with our brothers and sisters in Christ.

We strive to present the material in a way that someone with no prior Bible study experience can benefit, as well as persons with a detailed background in Bible studies and faith formation training.

We periodically meet for Dinners and other live events to get to know one another outside of class. It is also a good way of introducing spouses who are not in the class to get to know our class members.

Wednesday Mornings, 9:30am-11:30am
Room A in the Parish Activity Center (PAC)

This group has been in existence for over 30 years.  Our gathering format is cooperative discussion and faith sharing, usually after watching an instructional DVD by Bible scholars on the topics of the relevant chapters which have been read ahead of time.  Within this format, we visit and enjoy fellowship, great discussions, and snacks and coffee.  This is also an opportunity to get to know and build lasting and supportive relationships with other women of our Seton faith community.  Whether a beginner to Scripture study or a seasoned student, all adult women of the parish are welcome to join us on this faith journey.

Thursday Evenings 7 p.m.-9 p.m.

This particular scripture study is more lecture based than small group faith sharing. For those that desire a classic teaching/learning environment that is a little more academic, this might be the one for you. Each semester or year, a different topic is covered.
